AirAsia free tickets is very tempting. Initially I was not so keen on the news as I already have several places in mind, with top of the list to either Tibet or Daocheng Yading. Beside, I thought AirAsia only flies domestically in Malaysia or to Indonesia (yes, I have long time never follow the news of AirAsia).
After a short chat with Wai Ling and Ai Ling, I noticed that contradict to my believe where most of the flight to exotic Asia destinations are from Bangkok, Thailand, AirAsia does fly to both Siem Reap and Phnom Penh in Cambodia from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). A quick check revealed that the price for return ‘free’ air tickets to Cambodia is just MYR $143 (that’s the best part of online booking I like, where I can know the taxes, fees and charges beforehand, although it would be better if it’s added to ticket price instead).
It looks like a good bargain. Cambodia is a worthy alternative. Meanwhile I also looking at other AirAsia’s destinations such as Medan (Lake Toba), Miri (Mulu Cave), Bali, Manila and etc.
